Sarah Beddington: CROSSING, a solo exhibition, curated by Tania Duvergne is a site-specific, mixed
media installation responding to DAC’s ship-like interior and past maritime activity of the waterfront neighborhood of Dumbo, Brooklyn.

Deli Magazine, Realty Collective and Sesac Presents Brooklyn’s Independent Artists, Musicians and Designers. Friday Night Fashion Show: BluPrint Clothing. Art: Sara Reiss, Justin Neely and more from Deli’s film/shorts competition. Saturday from 2pm: Brooklyn’s best from Deli’s online Singer-Song-Writer competition.

BAC Gallery, Brooklyn Arts
Council

Creative Cartographies, curated by Jeanne Gerrity, features work by 12 Brooklyn-based artists. Influenced by the organization inherent in cartography, the artists in this exhibition present viewpoints both personal and political, mapping their own thoughts, journeys, and observations.

Recycle-A-Bicycle
Cycle Craft: An art show featuring unique pieces inspired by a passion for bicycles, made with recycled parts and created by NYC youth. When: Friday September 26. Free art workshop for kids.

Taliah Lempert is an artist with a passion for painting bicycles; she has built a unique body of work. She will have small paintings, prints, cards, t-shirts and coloring books all featuring the noblest invention.

Melville House
Chemotherapeutic Turbine Songs: Dominic Miller. Photographs and recordings from the Navajo Nation.

League Artists Natural Design, LAND
Tin Things and Other Stories: 11 artists bring together urban inspiration propelled by sources both personal and recycled. Tin Things and Other Stories demonstrates that subject and narration can be anything but ordinary. Highlights include sculpture, silkscreens and paintings.

Jane’s Carousel
In celebration of the Dumbo Arts Festival, Jane’s Carousel, a fully restored 48-horse carousel, made in 1922 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company.

Gleasons’s Gym
Gleason’s Gym--- Where boxing meets painting meets photography meets sculpture. Where the physical meets the spiritual and cerebral. Come visit Gleason’s and witness the exhibit you cannot help but feel you are a part of.

Henry Gregg Gallery
The Artist Project: Featuring the “Speaking Portraiture” of photographer Peter Sumner Walton Bellamy from his book, “The Artist Project/ Portraits of the Real Art World/ New York Artists 1981-1990”. The show will include the portraits of Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Richard Serra, Kiki Smith, John Cage and more.

Gallery qb
Gallery qb presents EDITION 1: Group show 2008. This inaugural exhibit showcases contemporary artwork by five distinct emerging artists. This year’s featured
artists include James Jahrsdoerfer, Joe Tully, Michael Dickey, Navin Norling and Teo Filo Olivieri.
